Collecting Reviews

    Review requests

Missed the moment on-site? Reach back out. Review requests email past customers a branded invitation to leave a review, one at a time or in bulk from a spreadsheet, and track who opens and completes each one.

Open Review Requests in the dashboard. Every request sends a professionally designed SyncReviews email that includes your company QR code and a one-tap "Leave a Review" button pointing at your company review page. Requests land in the same moderation flow as on-site reviews, and the list updates live as opens and completions come in.

    Send a single request

    1. Click Send Request and enter the customer's first name, last name, email, and company name. All four are required.
    2. Optionally edit the Email Message. Your text sits above the QR code and review button, which are added automatically and cannot be edited.
    3. SyncReviews sends the branded email and marks the request Sent. Track its status and resend later if the customer has not responded.

    Send in bulk

Click Bulk Import to reach many customers at once. You can:

    • Upload a CSV, by drag and drop or by browsing. The only required column is email; first_name, last_name, and company_name are optional. A CSV template is available to download from the dialog.
    • Add rows manually, typing each contact straight into the table.

SyncReviews shows a preview so you can review and edit contacts before sending, then sends each person their own request with a live progress bar and a per-contact sent or failed result. Rows missing a valid email are skipped. If a first name or company name is blank, the email prefix and your own company name are used as fallbacks.

    Manage your requests

Each request appears as a card in the list. From here you can:

    • Search by customer name, email, or company name.
    • Resend a request to a customer who has not responded. Resends are counted and shown as a "Resent" badge on the card.
    • Delete a request you no longer need.
    • Export the full list to CSV, including name, email, company, sent date, and status.

Longer lists are paginated, showing ten requests per page.

    Statuses and tracking

Each request moves through these states, tracked with an invisible email open pixel and a signed review link, so opens and completions are recorded automatically.

    StatusWhat it means
SentThe email has been sent to the customer.
DeliveredThe email was accepted for delivery to the customer's inbox.
OpenedThe customer opened the email, detected by the tracking pixel.
CompletedThe customer followed the link and left a review.

The stat cards at the top of the page summarize this period at a glance: Total Sent, Delivered with a delivery rate, Opened with an open rate, and Completed reviews collected.

Review requests are sent by email. Your plan sets how many you can send per billing period. A banner at the top shows how many you have remaining and when the count resets, and the Send Request and Bulk Import buttons are disabled once you reach the limit. A bulk send is blocked if it would exceed the remaining allowance. Some plans include unlimited requests.
Requests point to your company review link, so replies feed the same dashboard and moderation flow as on-site reviews. Set your company QR code up first, since the email cannot be sent without it.
